Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) training and exam prep - the job-role certification for Azure administrators, and the natural next step after AZ-900.

Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) is Microsoft's core job-role certification for Azure administrators. It proves you can manage Azure identities and governance (Microsoft Entra, role-based access control, subscriptions and policies), implement and manage storage, deploy and manage compute resources (virtual machines, containers and App Service), configure and manage virtual networking, and monitor and maintain Azure resources. The exam has about 40 to 60 questions and can include case studies. It is graded on a scaled score: you need 700 on a scale of 1 to 1000 to pass. Because scoring is weighted, 700 does not mean 70% of questions correct. The exam costs about US$165 (varies by region) and is delivered through Pearson VUE, online with remote proctoring or at a test centre. There is no formal prerequisite, but Microsoft recommends hands-on Azure experience.
Azure Administrator is one of the most recognised and in-demand cloud certifications. It proves you can run Azure day to day, supports real Azure administrator and cloud engineer roles, and is the gateway to Microsoft's expert-level Azure certifications. As a job-role credential it carries more weight with employers than a fundamentals certification - and Microsoft's free annual renewal keeps it current at no ongoing cost.
