At Hanux Learning, we strive to deliver high-quality training, certification guidance, and professional development services. We encourage all learners to carefully review program details, scope, schedule, and deliverables before making a purchase.

By enrolling in any program or service offered by Hanux Learning, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Refund & Cancellation Policy. This Policy forms part of, and is incorporated by reference into, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Nature of Our Services

Hanux Learning primarily provides:

  • Live instructor-led training programs.
  • Self-paced learning programs.
  • Certification preparation services.
  • Application submission guidance.
  • Career coaching and mentoring.
  • Resume and LinkedIn profile optimization.
  • Interview preparation services.
  • Job search and career marketing assistance.
  • Digital learning materials and recorded sessions.

Because most of our Services involve digital content, real-time consulting, coaching, and immediate resource allocation, refund eligibility is necessarily limited and is governed by the tiered structure described in this Policy.

2. Cancellation Before Program Start

A learner may request cancellation of an enrolled program before the scheduled training start date. Refund eligibility is determined by the time of the cancellation request, as follows:

Cancellation TimingRefund EligibilityDeductions
More than 7 days before training startUp to 80% refundAdministrative & payment gateway fees
Within 7 days of training startUp to 50% refundAdmin fees, gateway fees, reserved-seat costs
Within 48 hours of training startNo refund
After training has commencedNo refundService deemed substantially delivered

Important: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to support@hanux.org with your enrollment ID and reason for cancellation. The applicable refund tier is determined by the timestamp at which the cancellation request is received by Hanux Learning, not by the date of any prior verbal communication.

3. Refund After Training Has Commenced

Once any of the following has occurred, the Service is considered substantially delivered, and no refund shall be issued:

  • Attendance at any live training session (whether full or partial).
  • Access to the course portal, LMS, or learner dashboard.
  • Delivery of study materials, e-books, or downloadable resources.
  • Access to recorded sessions or video content.
  • A one-on-one consultation, mentoring, or coaching session.
  • Initiation of any application support or document review session.
  • Any career service session (resume review, profile review, interview prep).

No refund shall be issued after a Service has commenced, except where Hanux Learning is unable to deliver the Service through its own fault (see Section 12).

4. Self-Paced Programs

Due to the immediate digital delivery model of self-paced programs:

  • Self-paced courses are non-refundable once access has been granted to the course portal or content library.
  • Downloaded materials, recordings, study guides, and digital resources are non-returnable and non-refundable.
  • Activation of a self-paced enrollment constitutes irrevocable acceptance of the program and waiver of refund rights for that program.

5. Certification Exam Fees and Third-Party Vouchers

Exam vouchers, examination fees, memberships, subscriptions, and any third-party certification charges are strictly non-refundable. These are governed by the policies of the respective certification bodies, including but not limited to:

  • Project Management Institute, Inc. (PMI)® — PMP®, CAPM®, PMI-ACP®.
  • ISACA® — CISA®, CISM®, CRISC®.
  • PeopleCert / AXELOS — ITIL®, PRINCE2®.
  • Amazon Web Services, Inc. — AWS Certified™ family.
  • Microsoft Corporation — Microsoft Certified™ family.
  • Google LLC — Google Cloud™ certifications.
  • Scrum Alliance® — CSM®, CSPO®.
  • (ISC)²® — CISSP®.
  • CompTIA, Inc. — CompTIA Security+®, A+®, Network+®.

Once an exam voucher, application fee, or membership has been issued or paid to a third party on your behalf, Hanux Learning cannot issue a refund for those amounts, even if the program containing them is otherwise refundable.

6. Application Support and Consulting Services

Services involving certification application review, application preparation, experience validation guidance, documentation review, or eligibility consulting are considered professional consulting services. Once consulting assistance has commenced — whether by initial document submission, first consultation call, or written feedback — no refund shall be available for that service.

7. Career Services and Job Assistance

Career-related Services, including resume writing, resume optimization, LinkedIn profile enhancement, interview preparation, job search assistance, and profile marketing, are delivered on a best-effort basis.

Hanux Learning does not guarantee employment, interview calls, job offers, or salary outcomes.

Fees paid for career Services are non-refundable once the Service has commenced (defined as the first consultation, first delivered draft, or initiation of profile-marketing activity).

8. Corporate, Enterprise, and B2B Refunds

Where a learner is enrolled by an Employer, an Authorized Training Partner, or under a Master Services Agreement (MSA), Data Processing Agreement (DPA), or Statement of Work (SOW):

  • Refund eligibility, cancellation terms, and program substitution rights are governed by the terms of the executed corporate agreement, which take precedence over this consumer Refund Policy.
  • Individual learners enrolled under a corporate agreement may not request refunds directly from Hanux Learning. All refund requests must be initiated by the contracting corporate entity through their designated point of contact.
  • Where seats are reserved or content is customized for a corporate batch, cancellation fees, customization-recovery fees, and instructor-commitment fees may apply.
  • Bulk-purchase or corporate-volume discounts may convert to standard pricing for the seats actually utilized in the event of partial cancellation.

9. Promotional Codes, Discounts, and Bundle Programs

9.1 Promotional and Discounted Purchases

Enrollments made using a promotional code, limited-time discount, festival offer, scholarship, or any reduced-price promotion are subject to enhanced refund restrictions. Unless otherwise stated at the time of the offer, such enrollments are non-refundable once payment is processed.

9.2 Bundle and Multi-Program Enrollments

Where a learner enrolls in a bundle of two or more programs at a discounted bundle price:

  • A bundle is treated as a single, indivisible Service for refund purposes.
  • If the learner cancels after one or more programs in the bundle have commenced, the remaining programs are not separately refundable.
  • If a partial refund is approved at Hanux Learning's discretion, the consumed program(s) will be charged at the full standalone (non-bundle) retail price, and the difference (if any) between the amount paid and the standalone price of consumed programs may be refunded, less applicable administrative and payment-gateway fees.

9.3 Free or Complimentary Programs

Free programs, complimentary trial courses, scholarships, and gifted enrollments are non-refundable and have no cash value.

10. Program Commitment Policy (Installments and Deferred Payments)

This Section applies to enrollments made under any installment plan, EMI arrangement, deferred-payment scheme, financing arrangement, “Study Now, Pay Later” model, or “Pay After Certification / Employment” agreement.

By enrolling under such an arrangement, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Full Fee Liability: You remain personally and contractually responsible for the agreed total program fee once training, coaching, mentoring, or support Services have commenced.
  • No Outcome-Based Waiver: The full fee remains due regardless of certification outcome, examination outcome, employment outcome, salary outcome, or any change in your personal circumstances.
  • No Right to Cancel Outstanding Installments: Cancellation of the program does not extinguish liability for installments that have come due, are accruing, or were scheduled prior to the cancellation request.
  • Default and Collection: Non-payment of any installment may result in immediate suspension of Service access, reporting to credit bureaus (where applicable under law), and engagement of legal recovery proceedings. You agree to reimburse all reasonable costs of collection, including legal fees.
  • Income-Share or Pay-After Variants: Where the Service was offered on a “Pay After Certification” or “Pay After Employment” basis, the deferred fee becomes immediately payable on the trigger event defined in your enrollment agreement, irrespective of subsequent employment changes.

This Section is designed to protect both Hanux Learning and good-faith learners from disputes arising from deferred-payment enrollments. It applies in addition to, and does not limit, any other provision of this Policy.

11. Training Rescheduling or Cancellation by Hanux Learning

If Hanux Learning postpones, reschedules, or cancels a scheduled batch due to operational reasons (including instructor unavailability, minimum-enrollment shortfall, technical failure, or Force Majeure), learners may choose one of the following remedies:

  • Join the next available batch at no additional cost.
  • Receive a training credit of equivalent value, usable against any future Hanux Learning program for a period of 12 months.
  • Request a full 100% refund if Hanux Learning is unable to deliver the program within a reasonable timeframe (typically 90 days from original start date).

Refund decisions in such cases will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis based on the nature and duration of the delay.

12. Batch Transfer and Rescheduling by Learner

A learner may request a batch transfer or rescheduling, subject to availability of seats in the requested cohort.

  • Hanux Learning may permit one (1) complimentary batch transfer request per enrollment, provided the request is submitted in writing before the original batch start date.
  • Additional reschedule requests, or requests submitted after the batch start, may incur administrative fees as determined by Hanux Learning.
  • Batch transfers do not extend the validity of any associated exam vouchers, certification eligibility windows, or third-party access periods.

13. Exceptional Circumstances

Refund or credit requests arising from exceptional, documented circumstances — including but not limited to medical emergencies, military deployment, natural disasters, bereavement, or severe personal hardship — may be reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis.

Supporting documentation will be required (e.g., medical certificate, deployment order, official disaster declaration). Any concession granted in such cases is made as a goodwill gesture and does not constitute a precedent or admission of refund obligation under this Policy.

14. How to Submit a Refund Request

All refund requests must be submitted through the following process:

Step 1 — Submit Request in Writing

Send your refund request by email to: support@hanux.org

Your request must include:

  • Full name as registered for the program.
  • Registered email address and phone number.
  • Enrollment ID or order/receipt number.
  • Program name and batch start date.
  • Reason for the refund request.
  • Date and amount of original payment, and mode of payment.
  • Supporting documentation (if applicable, e.g., for exceptional circumstances).

Step 2 — Acknowledgment

Hanux Learning will acknowledge receipt of your refund request within 2 business days.

Step 3 — Review and Decision

Our team will review your request and communicate the decision (approval, partial approval with deductions, or rejection with reasons) within 7 business days of acknowledgment.

Step 4 — Refund Processing

If approved, the refund will be processed per Section 15 below.

15. Refund Processing Timeline

Where a refund is approved:

  • Processing typically takes 7 to 30 business days from the date of approval, depending on the payment mode and gateway.
  • Refunds are credited to the original mode of payment used at the time of enrollment.
  • Payment-gateway and bank-settlement timelines may add 3 to 10 additional business days.
  • Hanux Learning is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card networks, payment gateways, or third-party providers.

16. GST, Taxes, and Statutory Charges on Refunds

Refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable tax laws in your jurisdiction.

For Indian Learners

Where Goods and Services Tax (GST) was charged on the original transaction, the refund will be processed net of any non-recoverable GST liability that Hanux Learning has already remitted to the tax authority. Hanux Learning will issue an appropriate credit note in compliance with the GST law.

TDS, equalization levy, or any other statutory deduction made on the original transaction may not be recoverable in the refund and shall be addressed in accordance with the applicable tax statute.

For US, Canadian, and International Learners

Where Sales Tax, HST/GST (Canada), VAT, or any equivalent indirect tax was charged at the time of purchase, the tax component will be refunded in proportion to the principal refund amount, subject to the applicable tax law in your jurisdiction.

17. Currency Conversion on Refunds

Where the original payment was made in a currency different from the currency in which Hanux Learning processes the refund:

  • Refunds will be processed in the same currency as the original payment wherever feasible.
  • Where currency conversion is necessary, the exchange rate applied will be the prevailing rate at the time of refund processing, as determined by the payment gateway or banking partner, not the rate at the time of original payment.
  • Hanux Learning is not liable for any foreign-exchange loss, conversion margin, or differential arising from currency-rate fluctuations between the date of payment and the date of refund.
  • Bank conversion charges and intermediary fees levied by the recipient bank are the responsibility of the learner.

18. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback through your bank, credit card issuer, PayPal, Razorpay, or any other payment provider, you agree to first contact Hanux Learning at support@hanux.org and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter through this Refund Policy.

Where evidence demonstrates that the Service was substantially delivered or that the chargeback is unjustified, Hanux Learning reserves the right to:

  • Contest the chargeback and submit supporting documentation to the payment processor.
  • Immediately suspend or terminate your Account.
  • Withhold any pending refunds, certificates, or deliverables.
  • Recover the disputed amount, related processing fees, and reasonable legal costs through appropriate legal channels.
  • Block future enrollments under your name, email, or payment method.

19. Non-Refundable Items (Consolidated List)

The following are strictly non-refundable under any circumstance, except where Hanux Learning fails to deliver the underlying Service due to its own fault:

  • Exam vouchers and certification examination fees.
  • Certification body memberships, subscriptions, or annual dues.
  • Application review and certification eligibility consulting fees, once consulting has commenced.
  • Digital course materials, e-books, and downloadable resources, once delivered.
  • Recorded sessions and on-demand video content, once accessed.
  • Resume writing, resume optimization, and LinkedIn profile services, once initial draft or consultation has been delivered.
  • Career coaching, mentoring, or interview prep sessions already conducted.
  • Job-marketing and profile-marketing services, once campaign initiation has occurred.
  • Promotional, discounted, free, or scholarship enrollments (unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of offer).
  • Transaction processing fees, payment-gateway charges, currency-conversion margins, and non-recoverable statutory deductions.

20. Amendments to This Policy

Hanux Learning reserves the right to amend this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Amendments will be published on our Website with a revised “Last Updated” date. The Policy in effect on the date of your enrollment shall govern that enrollment. Amendments do not apply retroactively to enrollments made before the effective date of the amendment.
