The Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator II (formerly Advanced Administrator; CRT-211) is the advanced step up from the baseline Administrator credential. This course prepares you for the exam: advanced security and sharing (custom profiles, permission sets, delegated administration, authentication); objects and applications; auditing and monitoring; advanced data and analytics (reports, dashboards, data quality); environment management and deployment (change sets, sandboxes); and advanced process automation with Flow. You earn it by passing one exam (60 scored questions plus up to 5 unscored, 105 minutes) delivered by Pearson VUE - at a test centre or online - with the voucher purchased through Trailhead Academy. The passing score is 65% (confirm the current figure in the official exam guide). You must already hold the Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator credential.
Platform Administrator II proves you can run complex Salesforce orgs and apply advanced admin best practice. It is the natural next credential after Platform Administrator, and it signals to employers that you can go beyond day-to-day administration into advanced security, deployment and automation.
