Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant (MB-330) is Microsoft's job-role certification for functional consultants who configure and implement Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. It proves you can configure and manage the supply chain, implement and manage inventory, implement and manage sourcing and procurement, and implement and manage warehouse and transportation management - including product information management, master planning, and the warehouse mobile app. This is a functional (configuration) role and does not require programming. The exam has about 40 to 60 questions and can include case studies. It is graded on a scaled score: you need 700 on a scale of 1 to 1000 to pass. Because scoring is weighted, 700 does not mean 70% of questions correct. The exam costs about US$165 (varies by region) and is delivered through Pearson VUE. Passing Exam MB-330 alone earns this Associate certification. Microsoft recommends experience with supply chain operations and Dynamics 365.
Dynamics 365 is a major enterprise platform, and skilled functional consultants who can configure and implement it are in steady demand at Microsoft partners and enterprises. MB-330 proves you can implement the supply chain side of Dynamics 365, supports functional-consultant and implementation roles, and is accessible to supply chain and operations professionals - no coding required. As a job-role credential it carries real weight with employers - and Microsoft's free annual renewal keeps it current at no ongoing cost.
