Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Data Center is Cisco's professional-tier data center certification. It sits between CCNA (associate) and CCIE Data Center (expert), and proves you can implement and operate modern data center technologies. CCNP Data Center requires two exams. First, the core exam 350-601 DCCOR (Implementing and Operating Cisco Data Center Core Technologies, version 1.2), a 120-minute exam covering five areas: data center network, compute (Cisco UCS), storage network, automation and AI, and security. The v1.2 update is modern - it covers VXLAN EVPN, Cisco Intersight-managed systems, and storage approaches such as NFS and iSCSI, and it reflects hybrid and AI-powered environments. Second, one concentration exam of your choice - design (300-610 DCID), troubleshooting (300-615 DCIT), ACI (300-620 DCACI), storage networking (300-625 DCSAN) or automation (300-635 DCAUTO). Importantly, passing the core exam alone also earns the standalone Cisco Certified Specialist - Data Center Core certification and counts toward CCIE Data Center.
