The Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator (formerly Administrator; ADM-201) is the baseline Salesforce credential. This course prepares you for the exam: configuring and securing Salesforce (users, profiles, permission sets, sharing); building with objects, fields and applications; automating processes with Flow; managing data and building reports and dashboards; working with Sales and Service Cloud features; productivity and collaboration; and the newer Agentforce (AI) area. You earn it by passing one exam (60 scored questions plus 5 unscored, 105 minutes) delivered by Pearson VUE - at a test centre or online - with the voucher purchased through Trailhead Academy. The passing score is around 65% (confirm the current figure in the official exam guide). There is no prerequisite to sit; Salesforce recommends about 6+ months of hands-on experience.
