The AWS Certified Generative AI Developer - Professional (AIP-C01) is AWS's newest and most advanced AI certification. It proves you can build production generative-AI applications on AWS - integrating foundation models into real applications and business workflows, designing RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) architectures, using vector stores and knowledge bases, building agents, and optimising for safety, cost and latency. Amazon Bedrock is central, alongside Amazon SageMaker and serverless services. Please note this is a brand-new certification. It launched as a beta (registration opened in late 2025) and moved to standard registration in 2026, so confirm the current exam details on aws.amazon.com before booking - especially the duration, which is reported differently across sources.
