The TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Practitioner certification (Level 2) validates that you can apply and analyse the TOGAF Standard to develop, sustain and use an Enterprise Architecture. It is based on the TOGAF Standard, 10th Edition, and goes beyond understanding the framework to applying the Architecture Development Method (ADM) in real-world situations - the context for EA, architecture governance, the architecture repository and capability, and tailoring the ADM. You can certify by three routes: if you already hold TOGAF EA Foundation, pass the Part 2 exam (OGEA-102); from scratch, take Part 1 (OGEA- 101) then Part 2 (OGEA-102), or the Combined Part 1 and Part 2 exam (OGEA-103) in one sitting; or, if you hold TOGAF 9 Certified, take the Bridge exam (OGEA-10B). The Part 2 exam is 8 complex, scenario-based questions in 90 minutes, open book, with gradient scoring; you pass with 60% (24 of 40 points). The Combined exam is 48 questions in 2 hours 30 minutes.
TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Practitioner is the credential employers actually ask for in enterprise-architect job adverts. It proves you can apply TOGAF in practice, not just describe it - which is what senior and lead architecture roles require. It is vendor-neutral and portable, it does not expire, and it is the natural step up from Foundation.
