Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training aligned to the IASSC Body of Knowledge
Group Enrollment with Friends or Colleagues | Get a quote

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is the advanced level, for people who lead improvement full-time. Building on the DMAIC roadmap (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control), a Black Belt leads complex, cross-functional projects, uses advanced statistical tools, leads change across an organisation, and mentors Green Belts. Where a Green Belt leads smaller projects part-time, a Black Belt takes on the hardest, highest-impact problems, often coordinating several projects and coaching others. It is a full-time improvement role and a senior, career-defining qualification. This course prepares you for the IASSC Lean Six Sigma Black Belt exam, which is vendor-neutral, requires no completed project, and does not expire. For learners who want the ASQ certification, we also offer ASQ preparation with project mentoring - note that ASQ requires a completed improvement project with a signed affidavit (and relevant experience) and renews every three years. [Edit to match what we actually offer.] Black Belt is the top of the ladder and the highest-value qualification we offer. It has the strongest salary story of the three belts - and Green Belt is the usual step before it.
Black Belt is a senior improvement role. It shows you can lead the hardest, highest-impact projects, use advanced statistics, drive organisational change and mentor others - skills that command senior salaries in operations, quality and continuous-improvement leadership across manufacturing, healthcare, finance, logistics and services. It is the top of the Lean Six Sigma ladder.
