Here is where it leads: - Foundation is the required first step before PRINCE2 Practitioner, the higher-level certification that tests applying the method and carries the most weight with employers. - Foundation does not expire, so once you have it, it is yours to keep. One honest note: if you already hold PMP, CAPM, an IPMA Level A-D, or the APM PMQ or PPQ, you may not need Foundation at all - those certifications let you go straight to PRINCE2 Practitioner.
