The TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Foundation certification (Level 1) validates that you have the basic knowledge and understanding required to work with Enterprise Architecture using the TOGAF approach. It is based on the TOGAF Standard, 10th Edition, and covers the core concepts and terminology of TOGAF, the four architecture domains (Business, Data, Application and Technology), the structure of the TOGAF content framework and architecture repository, and the phases of the Architecture Development Method (ADM). The certification is earned by one exam - the TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Part 1 exam (OGEA-101): 40 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes, closed book, in English. You pass with 60% (24 of 40 correct).
TOGAF is the most widely used Enterprise Architecture framework in the world, and the Foundation certification is the recognised entry point. It is vendor-neutral and portable across employers and industries, it has no prerequisite so anyone can start, and it counts toward the higher Practitioner level - making it a strong first credential for anyone building an architecture career.
