ISACA's emerging-tech Fundamentals certificates are entry-level, vendor-neutral certificates that prove you understand the basics of a modern technology - with no prior experience or qualifications required. They are ideal if you want to break into a fast-growing field like AI or cloud, are changing careers, or want to add in-demand skills to your CV. Please note an important change: ISACA has retired the combined CET (Certified in Emerging Technology) credential for new candidates. CET used to be earned by passing four Fundamentals certificate exams together - AI, Blockchain, Cloud and IoT. That bundled credential is no longer available to new learners. However, the individual Fundamentals certificates remain available to earn on their own - most notably AI Fundamentals (confirm the current list on isaca.org). Each certificate is earned by passing one exam. The exam takes about two hours, mixes multiple-choice questions with hands-on tasks in a virtual lab, and requires about 65% to pass. You can register at any time and sit it online with remote proctoring. There is no experience requirement.
An ISACA emerging-tech Fundamentals certificate is a credible, recognised way to prove you understand a modern technology - even with no experience. In fast-moving fields like AI and cloud, employers value people who can show they have grasped the basics. These certificates help you stand out for entry-level and cross-training roles, and give you a foundation to build on. Because they are vendor-neutral, they apply wherever you work.

Confirm the current format and fees at isaca.org before booking. You register for each exam directly with ISACA.
