CompTIA Cloud Essentials+ Training and Exam prep | Business-focused Cloud certification (CLO-002)
Group Enrollment with Friends or Colleagues | Get a quote

CompTIA Cloud Essentials+ is the business-focused cloud certification. As organisations move to the cloud, decisions about cloud are made not only by engineers but by managers, project managers, finance, procurement and other non-technical staff. Cloud Essentials+ gives those people the knowledge to take part confidently. You will learn what cloud computing is and the business value it offers; how cloud adoption and migration work; the principles of cloud design and deployment (at a business level); governance, risk, compliance and security concepts; and how to manage cloud cost, contracts and vendors. The focus is understanding and decision-making, not building systems. Cloud Essentials+ has no prerequisite and requires no technical background - it is designed to be accessible. It is earned by passing a single exam (CLO-002), taken at a Pearson VUE test centre or online with OnVUE proctoring. Historically it has been "Good for Life" (it does not expire), though you should confirm the current status on comptia.org. Cloud Essentials+ is the business-side companion to the technical CompTIA Cloud+ certification. This course prepares you for the Cloud Essentials+ exam.
Cloud decisions are business decisions. Cloud Essentials+ gives non-technical professionals the confidence to take part in them - to weigh cloud value, understand migration and risk, manage cost, and speak the same language as technical teams and vendors. It is a practical way to become cloud-literate without a technical background, and it is valued in organisations that are moving to, or already using, the cloud.
