CompTIA Server+ Training and Exam prep | Recognised Server Administration Certification (SK0-005)
Group Enrollment with Friends or Colleagues | Get a quote

CompTIA Server+ is the recognised, vendor-neutral certification for server administration. It proves you can keep an organisation's servers and storage running reliably - and, distinctively, that you understand disaster recovery and business continuity, the plans that keep a business online when things go wrong. You will learn server hardware and components; installing and configuring physical and virtual servers; storage technologies and RAID; server administration and maintenance; securing servers; and - importantly - disaster recovery, backup and business continuity. Because it is vendor- and operating-system-neutral, Server+ applies across brands and across Windows and Linux environments. Server+ is earned by passing a single exam (SK0-005), taken at a Pearson VUE test centre or online with OnVUE proctoring. There is no formal prerequisite, though CompTIA recommends CompTIA A+ and around two years of hands-on server experience. Notably, Server+ has historically been "Good for Life" - it does not expire - which is unusual for a CompTIA certification (confirm the current status on comptia.org). Server+ sits on the CompTIA Infrastructure path (Network+ -> Linux+ / Server+ -> Cloud+). This course prepares you for the Server+ exam.
Servers are the backbone of every organisation, and someone has to keep them running - reliably, securely, and with a plan for when things go wrong. Server+ proves you can do exactly that. It is vendor-neutral, so it applies across any environment, and its strong disaster-recovery focus makes it valuable to any business that cannot afford downtime.
