Advanced Certified Scrum Developer Training | Advanced and trainer-led A-CSD training for experienced Scrum developers
Group Enrollment with Friends or Colleagues |

A-CSD (Advanced Certified Scrum Developer) is the advanced certification for software developers who work on Scrum teams. It is deliberately technical: rather than more Scrum theory, it focuses on the engineering practices that let a team deliver quality software in short, iterative cycles - test-driven development, continuous delivery, refactoring, and strong technical collaboration. Because it is advanced, A-CSD has prerequisites. To be certified you must already hold the Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) certification (active or expired), and validate at least 12 months of work experience as a developer or team member within the last five years. The course is 16 hours, delivered live by an approved Scrum Alliance trainer, in person or online, and includes a technical skills assessment. This is a course for practising developers who already know Scrum basics and want to raise their engineering craft within an agile team. It features real programming and hands-on activities, not just presentations.
A-CSD signals that you are an advanced developer who can build quality software the way agile teams need - with test-driven development, continuous delivery, and clean, refactorable code. Because it requires CSD plus a year of developer experience, it demonstrates a real technical track record, not just course attendance. For experienced developers, it is a way to stand out on a Scrum team and progress toward the top-of-track CSP-D.

Both requirements are firm, and CSD comes first. If you take the A-CSD course before you hold CSD or before you have the 12 months of experience, the trainer cannot certify you until you meet them. So please check you qualify before enrolling - and if you are not sure, contact us...
