IASSC Certified Lean Expert training, delivered with PeopleCert - master Lean and lead it across your organisation
Group Enrollment with Friends or Colleagues | Get a quote

The IASSC Certified Lean Expert is the advanced level of the Lean method - for people who will lead Lean across a whole organisation. It builds on Lean fundamentals and leading skills to give you mastery of all the Lean Management tools, plus the leadership and strategy skills to set direction with senior management, embed a Lean culture, and mentor Lean Leaders and Practitioners. Where a Lean Leader leads a team's improvement, a Lean Expert drives the organisation's whole Lean effort - linking Lean to strategy (for example through Hoshin Kanri), designing enterprise value streams, and building the capability of others. It is usually a full-time role. Lean is about efficiency and flow, so even at this level it remains practical, with far less statistics than a Six Sigma Black Belt. This certification is issued by IASSC and delivered by PeopleCert - the same globally recognised examination body behind PRINCE2 and ITIL. There are no prerequisites, so you can take it directly, though it assumes deep Lean knowledge and most people progress through Practitioner and Leader first. The exam is a 110-question, closed-book, online-proctored exam, and the certificate is recognised worldwide with a public register and a digital badge.
Lean Expert is a senior role. It shows you can lead an organisation's whole Lean effort - mastering the full toolkit, setting direction with senior management, embedding a Lean culture, and developing other leaders. Those skills command senior salaries in operational excellence and continuous-improvement leadership across manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, finance and services. It is the top of the Lean ladder.
