PRINCE2 Programme Management (formerly MSP), delivered with PeopleCert

PRINCE2 Programme Management - the certification formerly known as MSP (Managing Successful Programmes), 5th edition - is the globally recognised standard for programme management. A programme is a group of related projects and change activities managed together to deliver a strategic outcome that no single project could achieve alone. You will learn how to set up and run a programme: defining the vision and the benefits, designing the programme, managing the "tranches" (waves) of delivery, engaging stakeholders, managing risk across the whole programme, and keeping everything aligned to the organisation's strategy. It is the step up from managing a single project (PRINCE2) to leading strategic change. PRINCE2 Programme Management is delivered by PeopleCert - the same globally recognised examination body behind PRINCE2 and ITIL. It comes in two levels: Foundation (understand the MSP framework and terminology) and Practitioner (apply it to a programme scenario). You must pass Foundation before taking Practitioner.
Programme management is a senior, well-paid discipline. Organisations delivering large-scale change - digital transformation, mergers, new services - need people who can run programmes, not just projects. MSP (PRINCE2 Programme Management) is the recognised standard for exactly that, and it is the natural next step for an experienced PRINCE2 project manager.
