Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security is Cisco's professional-tier security certification. It sits between CCNA (associate) and CCIE Security (expert), and proves you can design, deploy, operate and troubleshoot secure network infrastructure across Cisco's security portfolio. CCNP Security requires two exams. First, the core exam 350-701 SCOR (Implementing and Operating Cisco Security Core Technologies), a 120-minute exam covering six domains: security concepts, network security, cloud security, content security, endpoint protection and detection, and secure network access, visibility and enforcement. Second, one concentration exam of your choice - for example Secure Firewall (300-710 SNCF), identity (300-715 SISE), email security (300-720 SESA), web security (300-725 SWSA), VPNs (300-730 SVPN) or security automation (300-735 SAUTO); Cisco has also added newer Zero-Trust and secure-access concentrations, so confirm the current list. Importantly, passing the core exam alone also earns the standalone Cisco Certified Specialist - Security Core certification and is the qualifying exam for CCIE Security.
