ISACA AAIR Training and Exam prep | Advanced AI risk governance for risk professionals
Group Enrollment with Friends or Colleagues | Get a quote

ISACA AAIR (Advanced in AI Risk) is an advanced certification for risk professionals, launched in early 2026 - the newest of ISACA's three AI credentials. As organisations adopt AI, they face new and poorly understood risks, and regulators (through the EU AI Act and similar rules) increasingly require them to govern those risks. AAIR proves you can integrate AI risk into an enterprise risk framework, manage risk across the AI lifecycle, and run an AI risk program. You will cover the three AAIR areas: AI risk governance and framework integration; AI lifecycle risk management; and AI risk program management. The content aligns with the EU AI Act, the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and ISO/IEC 42001. The exam is scenario- based, testing applied judgement rather than memorised facts, and is scored on ISACA's 200-800 scale with 450 required to pass (confirm current details on isaca.org).
AI risk has become a board-level and regulatory priority. With the EU AI Act and similar rules taking effect, organisations must show they govern AI risk - and there are very few professionals formally qualified to lead that work. AAIR, built on the respected CRISC foundation, positions experienced risk professionals to own AI risk as it moves to the top of the agenda.
