The TOGAF Integrating Risk and Security credential gives you an awareness and understanding of essential security and risk concepts in relation to the TOGAF Architecture Development Method (ADM). It covers Information Security Management (ISM), Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Enterprise Security Architecture (ESA); the relationships with IT security and risk standards like the ISO/IEC 27000 family, ISO 31000 and COBIT; why security is a cross-cutting concern; and how the TOGAF Content Metamodel relates to ISM and ERM. It is based on the TOGAF Standard, Version 9.2. This is a certification credential (an Open Badge) and a knowledge-based awareness credential - not a full certification, and not a cybersecurity certification. You earn it by completing the Learning Units and passing an assessment, via either an accredited 3-hour course or The Open Group's own self-study option (both include the assessment). The dedicated Credly badge page states there are no prerequisites (confirm the current requirement, as one general Open Group listing implies TOGAF 9 Foundation or higher). The credential does not expire.
Security and risk are on every architecture agenda. This credential shows employers you have an awareness of how security and risk fit into Enterprise Architecture - the essential concepts in relation to the TOGAF ADM, Information Security Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Enterprise Security Architecture, and the links to standards like ISO/IEC 27000, ISO 31000 and COBIT. It is a short, shareable Open Badge, and it does not expire. Note: it is an awareness credential, not a cybersecurity certification.
