The Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification is the foundational credential for the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. It validates broad, practical knowledge of the platform: its architecture and features, account management and data governance, data loading, unloading and connectivity, performance optimisation and querying, and data collaboration and protection. The current exam, COF-C03, also covers the newest platform capabilities, including Snowflake Cortex AI, Apache Iceberg Tables, Snowflake Notebooks and Git integration. The certification is earned by one exam (COF-C03): 100 multiple-choice and multiple-select questions in 115 minutes, delivered through Pearson VUE (online-proctored OnVUE or a test centre). You pass with a scaled score of 750 out of 1000; Snowflake does not publish an official percent-correct threshold.
The Snowflake AI Data Cloud is one of the most widely used data platforms, and SnowPro Core is the credential that proves you can work with it. It is the foundation employers look for in data roles that touch Snowflake, and the springboard to the specialised SnowPro Advanced certifications.
