CCIE Security training - Cisco's expert-level security certification, earned through the 350-701 SCOR core exam and an 8-hour hands-on lab.
Group Enrollment with Friends or Colleagues |

The Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Security certification is Cisco's expert-level credential for network security. It is earned in two steps: pass the written core exam, 350-701 SCOR, then pass the 8-hour, hands-on CCIE Security Lab (v6.1). This course prepares you for both, covering network, perimeter and cloud security; secure connectivity and segmentation (VPNs); secure access and identity; and security infrastructure, automation and operations - all taught with extensive hands-on practice. A few facts matter. Cisco does not publish a passing score - the written exam's threshold is not disclosed, and the lab is graded pass/fail (results usually within 48 hours; a re-exam can be booked after five calendar days). The written core is delivered by Pearson VUE (about US $400); the lab is taken at a Cisco lab location (about US $1,600, plus travel). As a Cisco certification, it is valid for three years and is renewed by recertification (passing eligible exams or earning Continuing Education credits).
CCIE Security is one of the most respected credentials in network security, proving you can design, deploy and operate complex security solutions at expert level. It is often associated with senior security engineering, architecture and principal consulting roles. Because it requires passing a demanding written core exam and an 8-hour hands-on lab, a CCIE carries real weight with employers - particularly for organisations running Cisco security infrastructure.
